For You

Hm ... the title of this song could also be "for Yooh", because that's what it is ;-)
I had a bit of a difficult time in last November and for silly reasons was worried that
our friendship might suffer from that. It didn't :) Anyway, I decided to finish the song
although it is outdated. On a sidenote, at about the same time Yooh worried about
*me* and wrote a wonderful poem about it, which is also outdated by now.
I really really love my friends *warm smile*.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you remember the woman
who would
Go out there and just change the world
if she could
You know that not all of those changes
are good
But she might have to do it
anyway

Can you still recall that you liked her
for that
For her stubbornness and for the
temper she had
Now her actions and even her thoughts
drive you mad
And she hopes with all her soul
that you will stay

'Cause you were there first
and you will be there last
No matter what changes
May come and abound

We shared our music
We shared our dreams
And I don't want to lose you
There's so much we found
Together

You tell her you don't want to see her
get hurt
You're afraid that she will harm herself
with her words
You warn her that love's just a
volatile bird
But that's just not what this
is all about.

This is about life and about
going on
About things never finished although
long begun
Looking out of the shadow and
seeing the sun
But it will not affect us,
don't you doubt.

'Cause you were there first
and you will be there last
No matter what changes
May come and abound

We shared our music
We shared our dreams
And I don't want to lose you
There's so much we found
Together
